Born and raised in the nation’s capital, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Layla enjoyed participating on many sport teams throughout high school. During her last year, she took on a part-time job as a Certified Aerobic Instructor at Catherine’s Lady Fitness, since then she has only expanded her Education, Experience and Knowledge. Layla has trained clients from all walks of life. She has been featured on radio, television, print and has been a fitness columnist for - Canadian Healthstyle Magazine, Viva Magazine, Langley Times. Her educational pursuits include - Three years of Kinesiology at SFU (Simon Fraser University), obtained her various certifications through UBC (University of British Columbia), CSEP-CFC and Douglas College in British Columbia, Certified Weight-Training and Instruction. Alive Academy of Nutrition, Applied Nutrition. She has achieved her Spinning, Personal Training, Aqua-fit, STEP, Aerobic Instructor Certifications. Layla continues to develop and learn in this ever changing industry!
